How would you interpret this restaurant 'VIP Event' invitation?

A new restaurant is opening locally and they've handed out cards to local businesses etc with invitations to a "VIP Event" the evening before they officially open. How would you interpret this? e.g.
a) a sneak preview, but expect to pay menu prices.
b) there may be a free buffet-style sample menu and maybe a free glass of something.
c) a full free meal.

I think b is most likely, but as I've never been to something like this I'm unsure. I have 3 invitations so, I'm tentatively planning to go with family members. An RSVP by email is requested.

I’ve been to a couple of these. It’s usually been a “pay what you think” thing but they’ve been small businesses. The one that was a high street name was 50% prices as it was basically staff training.

If there's no prices on the invitation or on the website then probably b. It's definitely more likely than c anyway.

Phone or message and ask.

I'd guess it's b but I'd want to know for sure before going.

I went to a new Megan’s opening in Surbiton and it was free food but not drinks.
