The trouble with the fourth one was the need to NOT make any attempt to date the Princess Royal's clothes (or hair) because she picked a style and stuck with it and the garments for decades.

I made that mistake….

It's admirable, as is retaining her girlish figure, but very unhelpful when trying to guess the date.
