Gift for use of holiday home

Friends of DH are letting us their holiday home for a weekend. They don’t rent it out, just let family and friends use it. They won’t accept payment.

What is a good gift that I can get to leave for them to say thanks?

I would go nice and simple, a lovely thank you card with a personalised message in about your stay. A very nice bunch of flowers and a bottle of their favourite wine, hand delivered after your stay. You could put them in a nice basket with some chocolates to jazz it up but simple really is best in these scenarios.

Agreed a bottle of fabulous wine/ champagne - with a nice card (maybe with a photo from your trip on it?).

I'd get a voucher for their favourite restaurant 😊

Bottle of gin!

Flowers are lovely. A restaurant voucher would be great imo.

In our family though, it’s ££ towards the energy bill since the rates went up a couple of years ago. But if your friends won’t accept that , I would love the voucher.
