Going rate (hourly) for nanny in London?

Hi, please could you tell me what the hourly going rate for a nanny in London is?

Or, if you don't know necessarily what the going rate is, what hourly rate you pay your nanny?

Ideally if you could give me the net figure, that would be great. (We pay the nanny's tax, so pay is net.)

£20 gross seems to be the average in SW London

Probs £20-25 gross for full time. Depends on the role though, part time/specialists for SEN etc charge more round here.

It's three days a week.... 11 hours a day. One child who is Year 5

We're paying ours 17 gross, we are outer London though and I think she's due a pay rise. When we had a temp through an agency she was 22, but they charge higher rates due to the nature of the role.

Given a cleaner us now £20ph (gross) in sw london I'd say a nanny has to be at least £25ph

Tragically Nannies have always been paid less than cleaners. Go figure!
