Just found some boots in my cupboard which I had put to one side while I worked out what to do with them. About 2 years ago 😂
what’s this bit called that is missing? Heel… what?
and can I buy something to replace it and do it myself or do I need to take them to a cobbler?

If the boots are in good condition and you like them, take them to a cobbler or shoe repairer. They'll reheel them. You can get heels on Amazon etc but I don't think it's worth the hassle for the price.

Thanks, off to the cobbler I go.
I do like them still and want to have them back in my shoe options (although I’ve had a twatty ankle for a while and it may be a bit of a wait before I can wear them again!).

I've just had mine repaired and it cost £15 at Timpsons.

Enjoy your resurrected boots and hope your ankle gets better soon. @Notonyourjelly Flamin heck, it's gone up a lot but better than chucking out.

@CherryRipe1 I know! It used to be a couple of pounds - but that was when I was young many years ago. I wouldn't have bothered, but the boots were quite expensive, so worth repairing.
