no doubt about it there is lots of great bargains re Christmas items reduced in the shops. often I pick up cheap throws they are ideal for the pets after all they don't care about Father Christmas on their blankets!
i also stock up on candles toiletries for myself and any cheap china or glasses ideal for ourselves as often things seem to get broken easily in this house!
does anyone else take advantage of the cheap prices?

Yes I've already started shopping for Christmas 2025, mostly perfume gifts that were on sale so far.

Christmas cards, wrapping paper and new tree lights all bought this year. Great bargains, and box ticked for next year.

Usually yes. For wrapping paper, cards, decorations etc. Not this year because:

  1. I haven't been well enough to go shopping anywhere at all
  2. Going through the Christmas stuff before Christmas this year, I realised I have enough for the next 5 years!
