Events licenses, can you see them online?

As title really. Can you find (and potentially object to) events licenses that have been applied for to your local council? Or view the ones that have been granted?

Where do you find them? I've tried looking on the council website but can't find anything useful other than how to actually apply!

I think it depends on your council. You could ring up and ask - there will. Be a licensing section

It should be on the council website - on mine there is a specific page called something like licensing decisions which has a database of all the licences that have been granted and applications that have been submitted. There will also be pages for the licensing sub committee, where these decisions are made, there you can see the minutes from meeting and agenda for forthcoming meetings so you should be able to work out the current status.

Its also worth ringing up the licensing department and ask to talk to the events licensing section - they should be able to give you information or direct you to the relevant section of the website.

Failing that do a google search for the event and licence application or contact your local councillor and ask them to get the information - it is their job to liaise with the local community

Thanks both, very useful info.
