Sorry , not very well phrased.
I feel ignorant and shocked to realise that Biden was a stumbling block. Am I alone in my naviety?
I mean I knew America was pro Israel but if the departure of Biden has changed the dynamics to this extent, that's a whole new level.

I wonder how it will affect the Russia/Ukraine conflict though, not to mention women's rights in the USA. I'm not sure another term of Trump will turn out to be a positive thing overall but I'm happy to be proved wrong over the next 4 years, even if it seems unlikely.

His appointment will have had an impact but to chalk it all up to him alone means writing off the work that Biden and his team have done up to now as the USA’s contribution.

I think it came as a bit of surprise to the Israeli government too, if the report in the Guardian is anything to go by…
