Sandwich toaster help

I've just been given one. No instructions. Yes, I know I'm ninety years too late to this party. 😂

Anyway. DH and I would like to know if the butter goes on the outside of the bread or the inside.

And how long do they take?

Mars bar toasties. Food of champions.

Cheese and thousand island dressing is good.

Butter on the outside and cheese and baked beans 😋

Beans work.
Put cold beans in - paying attention to where the dip is!
Clean it thoroughly after use.

But almost anything you'd put on a sandwich will probably work.

Many foods become volcanic though when put inside a sandwich toaster.

Cheese and beans
Egg, leave in for longer if you don't want a runny yolk,
Ham and cheese
Chicken and cheese
Tuna and cheese
Choc spread

Outside.

My favourite is corned beef and onion, or if I'm at home for Christmas then a Christmas dinner toastie with a bit of everything is fabulous.

Cheese and salami, cheese and beans, cheese and pesto, cheese and onion, cheese and tomato. Just cheese!!

Corned beef and brown sauce.

salted caramel sauce and banana, Nutella and anything....

Butter on the outside.
