Redundant - can I get UC as well as JSA?

I've just been made redundant, and assumed I'd just get the basic 1 week / 1.5 weeks per year of service, but because we didn't get any notice, we are eligible for payment in lieu of notice (PILON) as well. Apparently the JSA amount is deducted from this if you decide for any reason not to claim JSA, and initially I wasn't going to bother claiming, but I see it is quite a chunk so am looking into it. I also hadn't thought about UC, but have been on a calculator and it is telling me I am eligible for both. Is this right when dh works? I thought it was when nobody in the household was working.

It will be a joint claim and your Dh wage/savings definitely come into it.
