Worried about my Grandaughter

I'm so worried about my little Granddaughter who has just turned 6. She plays up every morning not wanting to go to school and continuously says she hungry. There is no problem at the school and when my daughter does her food she won't eat it! We're at our wits end not knowing where to turn. She is very petit and we're concerned she isn't putting on any weight! We have tried everything. Any suggestions would be so gratefully received. Thank you.

Speak to school and take to gp for a check.
If she isn't growing at all take to gp. Coeliac disease can stop growth.

By ‘everything’ I’m assuming you’ve taken her to the doctor? As that would be most people’s first thought.

Are there any foods she will reliably eat?

I agree that she needs to be seen by a GP as there could be various physical or psychological causes for this.

My niece is like this with food. She has adhd. Have you been to the gp? What centile is she on for weight and height?

What does she eat?
And does she ever complain of physically discomfort (tummy aches, issues with constipation)?

We have tried everything.
