American Tiktok users are downloading Red Note, a Chinese owned video sharing app

Does anyone else find this hilarious? 🤣

As the ban on Tiktok approaches in the US (due to fears of it being used for spying), users have now migrated over to the Chinese version of Tiktok. The CEO of Red Note even posted a welcome video for American users.

Red Note was the number one downloaded app on both UK and American app stores. I would love to be a fly on the wall when all those US senators heard the news this morning. Especially after the grilling they gave the CEO of Tiktok over his connections with the Chinese communist party.

I think it's wonderful that the US government accidentally caused a huge cultural exchange. Have you used it yet?
