Looking for recommendations for a summer holiday suitable for teens

We’re taking my 16yo DD and her friend on holiday this summer after GCSEs. The girls would like somewhere on the beach with activities and other teenagers around to hang out with.

Obviously it needs to be safe as the girls won’t want us hanging around supervising them.

Our requirements are

The Med
Preferably an all inclusive resort with everything on site or nearby
A hotel with suites with separate bedrooms so the girls will have some privacy from DH and I.
Budget around £1400 per person

If anyone knows of anywhere suitable I’d appreciate recommendations.

The Olympic Lagoon Resort in Cyprus sounds like it has everything that you're looking for Olympic Lagoon Resort Paphos - Paphos Resort hotels | Jet2holidays. It's all inclusive, has a huge number of activities (water sports, various pools, a teens club (which older teens do actually attend!) etc). Jet2 have an offer of £100 off per person at the moment which, depending on when you go, would bring it in budget (also dependent on where you fly from!)

Thank you that sounds perfect. I'll have a look.

Interested also.

Am finding a lot of rooms you have to be close family as its a sofa bed etc.

Doesn't work if have a step child or their friend.

We did stay in a 2 bed in Es cana in Ibiza with 2 bedroom and a living room. But this seems to be few and far between.

thorneyislanddoris · 14/01/2025 16:53

@coffeeandteav yes this is our issue. DD's friend obviously doesn't want to share a room with me and my DH.

Yalloh campsites? Mobile homes have 2 and 3 bedrooms.

Normal hotels?

Ah that's a shame! Atrium Palace in Greece is along similar lines- activities for teens, multiple pools, near local tavernas etc and there is an all inclusive option. There isn't a 2 bed apartment option, but the hotel are great at accommodating having 2 bedrooms right next to each other if they don't have interconnecting bedrooms- so when I went with my teens we got 2x double garden bedrooms, as the beds can split into single beds, and asked for them to be right next door.

Just FYI- Jet2 you can search by putting in the number of rooms AND people. Which is handy !
