Looking for some inspiration for 100th birthday celebration outfit. Feel need to be smart but also want to be relaxed, no idea what to wear!

Someone else’s, in a casual hotel, no dress code given.

I'm a jeans kind of person.
For that kind of thing I would go for
. Skirt and jumper
. Low cost simple dress and jacket
. Or even smartish black jeans and jacket

What's your usual style, size, body shape, height, colour preference & budget?

I've been to a 100th birthday party, not in a hotel so maybe that makes a difference, everyone wore their normal clothes, there wasn't any kind of dress code or special clothes because of the age.

It was a few years ago so ignore that if the etiquette has changed recently
