I ache all over. My shoulders, my neck, my back and even my actual bottom.

I want to book myself in for a good massage but I don’t want to feel awkward by asking if they can massage my b if it’s a no no

Gluteal massage is what you're looking for. I don't know about general massages but sports therapists can do this when asked.

sports massage, tell them your glutes are tight. They usually do it through knickers / shorts, i've never had to take my pants down! Or invest in a cheap massage gun.

In most of the massages I’ve had, I’ve been asked whether I want to be massaged there. I’ve only ever had spa treatment type massages, so I would assume it’s pretty standard.

I did wonder how they would do it. We actually have a massage gun in the house. I’ll give it a go again. Last time it didn’t work

You can actually rub your lower back and hip area with massage oil yourself by rubbing the oil over the area then clenching your fists and in circular strong movements massaging for a few mins should help.

Handy as a stopgap option. Can do buttocks too.

Pressing a tennis ball in between you and the wall can help.
