Harrogate food recommendations - anyone local?

Hi all. I've been lucky enough to be invited along to a night away and would like to pay for lunch / dinner for my friend. If there's a bargain January deal to be had then so much the better. I actually go again in Easter so am generally interested in food recommendations.

I went to somewhere called Starling I think before and it was lovely. Drinks at north bar and another place I liked.
Avoiding betty's as done that bit anywhere else for a coffee and cake that's lovely would be welcome. Hit me up. Love Harrogate but haven't been enough to explore fully so here is my chance !

The Ivy - great atmosphere, friendly staff, food reasonable, they have specials like anywhere else. Its on the main road a few doors from the amazing Turkish Baths.
Have a lovely time

Rhubarb - fantastic food and lovely atmosphere.

Baltzersens for brunch or coffee and cake.
Tannin Level is still popular I think but it's years since I went.

La Feria for the best authentic tapas outside Spain.
Baltzersens for coffee, cake, waffles.
Paradise Tap and Tacos for Mexican street type food, informal atmosphere and drinks.
Domo for excellent sushi/japanese.
