Where is warm in April for a holiday?

Normally go to the Canaries at Easter, normally Lanzarote. It’s familiar, the weather is perfect and we love it.

Partner wants to try somewhere else this year. My only requirement is sun and warm weather.

it will be second week of April so any suggestions for an older teen who likes to explore and 2 boys who love to play.

Madeira? It is lovely (only had a day there while on a cruise). Not sure if it would be suitable for children though. The cable car and the toboggan down the hill is worth doing.
