Teaching assistants, how much do you earn

Please could you tell me your monthly wage after tax (what gets put into your bank account) and how many hours you are contracted to?
Also please say what level you are!

I'm a teacher wondering if I could live on TA wage and I don't want to go round asking my colleagues what they earn...

@twinkletoesimnot technically speaking I'm a qualified teacher. My school finds it hard to recruit in my subject and I strongly suspect that if I went to the Head and said I'd like another crack at teaching then I'd have a good chance of getting a job. But currently I finish work at 3.30 (dunno what is wrong with my brain, I put the wrong hours above - I do 8.15-3.30) and I don't think about school again until the next working day. I'm cash poor but quality of life rich. When I hear teachers talking about book looks, learning walks, data collections, parents' evenings, P8 and value added, I am not jealous.
