What changes would you love to make this year ?

1.This year, i want to drive. I have always driven with another driver in the passenger seat, in most cases, my father or husband. I am challenging myself to do it on my own this year. Anxious, but I have to do it. I need to start being independent and I know that being independent will also bring me confidence. I don't want to be dependent on people anymore with such things.

  1. To be intentional about my self care and to love myself more
  1. I want to try and spend less time on my phone and spend more time with my kids .I sometimes feel addicted to it. I don't like that . It takes up my time
  1. To make time and effort for the gym

There are probably many more that I can't think of now, what are yours ?

  1. be more consistent with my self-care (skin, teeth, sleep, exercise). It’s always the first thing I drop when life gets busier which I want to change this year.
  2. move to a new house! We spent all of last year looking and had 2 purchased fall through. I love where we are renting but it’s expensive and the landlord isn’t great. I want our own place so I can also decorate and renovate as I want.
  3. Be less available - I really overcommitted myself next year, accepting almost all invites to events and coffees and other things. I want to protect my free time more this year.
  4. get a new job - the Xmas break made me realize I’m truly unfulfilled, under utilized and completely unmotivated in my current role. So I don’t want to end this year in the same place and have started applying for jobs that I hope will line up better with my skills and expectations!

  1. Finish my degree
  2. Stick to the budget
  3. Get back to pre-pregancy weight in a healthy way (no crash diets)
  4. Start making an effort with appearance again (I can't get way with messy bun, leggings and same jumper for a week anymore. DD is no longer a newborn!🥲)
  5. Run a sub 1:45 half marathon

Read more books. My youngest is 3 and I’m just starting to feel like have the (shred of) attention span and a bit more energy in the evening to read regularly again .

I think it’s so good for you and my job involves some writing, which I find reading hugely improves.

Simple but has lots of benefits.
