Small cheap electric "wood burner"

The radiator in my home office is not working and no amount of trying to fix it has been successful. This will have to be a project for later but can anyone recommend a cheapish (under 150 pounds) small electric wood burner, ideally one that's not very loud?

They're essentially just a fan heater, just with a fancy casing - you could buy an equivalent fan heater for about £15. They'll always be noisy.

If you just want one for the heating rather than the aesthetics, I'd reccommend an oil-filled plug in electric radiator instead, which are totally silent.

Agreed. Oil-filled heaters are convenient and cheap, and easily moved around from room to room.

Round here just about every electrical shop sells them, plus all the big agricultural retailers. They look good but they're expensive to run, apparently.
