My DD 8 wants to sew clothes. My DM visited at Christmas and taught DD how to use a sewing machine and now DD is very keen to sew clothes. DD and I have fallen into a rabbit hole of old Sewing Bee series.
We've been having fun cutting up old sheets and making tote bags and patchwork capes, but its time to move on. I was taught to follow a pattern as a child but it's been years.
Can anyone recommend an online course or a very easy intro to sew clothes pattern for us both to learn together?
(DM is no help at all. She is a perfectionist and won't tolerate anything less than a perfectly straight seam. Despite trying to teach many children and grandchildren, she has not inspired a love of sewing in any of us)
