Why are some people so nasty on here. I'm not talking about different of opinions. I'm talking sarcastic comments. Being nasty towards the op. Some posters even look up the op history and use it against the op whilst adding untruths .

You're right, Op. If people can't disagree with someone else without being rude and insulting how on earth do they manage in real life?

Yes! I see this all the time. Clearly a bunch of people sit in waiting until someone else writes what they think because they’re too scared to be the first. Then they all type in a frenzy at once 😆

If people want a sugarcoated, skip round the edges answer they would ask family and friends if people want the cold hard truth mumsnet is here for that.

If I were on a forum I thought was generally inhabited by aggressive, foul-mouthed vipers, I’d probably beetle off to one of the other available places to hang out online, rather than post a faux-naive complaint.
