A very clear test of whether it's one law for them. If it's clear that it is, then if I were on a jury, I'd suddenly lose interest in "justice". Or helping the police.

It was always going to be spurious reasons.

It sounds like she did her job well. Just not a particularly senior or noteworthy position and one which wouldn't ordinarily lead direct to 50 years in the House of Lords.

Nothing there to justify why she was nominated/elevated though, is there?

Kempsall's has a little more meat on it given he was apparently the most senior policy and political official in the Conservative party.

He'd also been handy enough to give Johnson the building model buses as a hobby interview and had been a stalwart supporter at Guido.

I’m not sure I’d say she did amazingly well at helping Johnson maintain his relationship with the Parliamentary party given how he left.

I'd certainly turn up to the HoL for £361 a day plus £30 of travel costs. £90k a year. I wouldn't need a title.

On top of that of course she works with Johnson as VP at Better Earth Limited. They advise on green energy. I wonder if its handy to have someone in the HoL.

I can't condemn model buses. DS1 and I have quite a collection between us 😁 we're the sort of saddos who stand in muddy fields and car parks and less muddy church halls looking for the special ones, though.

The whole Johnson/model bus bollocks was a pathetic attempt to move the dial on google when people were googling "Boris Johnson Bus" and getting pictures of that bus Boris stood in front of with it's lie that he claimed he'd never seen.

A contemporary example might be if Suella Braveman went on Sunday Brunch to explain how she uses Walls ice cream with chunks of Turkish delight and Italian coffee beans in an attempt to pretend she is not only not evil, but not stupid.
