Baby hair ( for fun)

Genuinely curious on people’s opinion about hair colour!

myself and my partner both have very dark brunette hair and both our families both have light brown or dark brown hair.

neither of us have any red on our sides that we know of.

Genuinely curious what colour you think my baby will turn out - as it is an ongoing debate in my family!! It looks different in different lights ranging from brown, blonde and red.

We really don’t care as baby is gorgeous whatever colour this is purely for fun to try and settle the debate.

Brown.

At the moment I'd call that a dark blonde, but it will probably darken up and go brown as he or she gets older?

Probably dark blonde as a toddler and then into brown.

Brown
I was born Duracell colour (ginger, not the black bit!), went blonde and variated between the two all my life - I'm now cultivating the silver.
DSis was your baby's colour, flirted with blonde during the toddler years and then became a true brunette. Have no idea where she's going as she has a good hairdresser!

The colour is so similar to my son's hair! Both mine and my partner's hair is dark brown (mine more so), but my partner's hair was very blond up until he was five and his eyes also changed from blue to green, so I will be interested to see what happens with my little one if he follows the same pattern. Oh and for the record I would call it very dark blond 😊

I and both my children had white blonde hair when small, but all gradually turned dark blonde (verging on brown) by our teens. From old family photos, my dad was the same.

DD actually had a lot of thick brown/black hair at birth and I thought she'd take after DH, but when her baby hair disappeared, it started to grow through white blonde. She also had dark eyes that turned blue.

DS was born blonde with big blue eyes.

I am told that I always had the blue eyes like my dad, but was completely bald until I was 2.

I'd say brown.

My DD2 had hair that colour as a baby/toddler. I once lost her in a garden centre and a woman asked if I was looking for a child with blonde hair. Instead of agreeing that I was looking for that lost child, who she had spotted, I said "it's more brownish". I felt like an idiot for a while after that. So definitely debatable.

A lot like my daughter's hair. I say she's sandy at the moment (a mix of blonde, brown and auburn). It will most likely turn brown like mine. DD has got a thick white streak down one side though and I'm curious to see whether that will stay (it's so cute🤪)
