Short haul beach holiday

Hi ladies, HNY!

I'm looking for beach holiday recommendations. We're planning to go in Sept/Oct, for 4/5 nights.

Because of the duration it should be a fairly short flight (5/6 hours tops).

There's a few musts:

*Weather should still be warm enough to sunbathe (27+)

Hotel has to be all inclusive (or have the option) and be either a 5 or a very good 4*

*Kid friendly

*£1k budget pp (could be slightly more flexible if the hotel is amazing).

For context, I've always gone to Mexico for my beach holidays and my favourite hotels have been St Regis in Punta Mita and Finest in Cancun.

Thanks!

It depends when you want to go - in early September lots of places are still 27+ (southern Spain, southern Greece, Turkey, Cyprus) but by mid October you need to look further south for that temperature (Egypt, southern Morocco, Dubai). I'm a travel agent and I recently booked one of my clients into a very nice 5* hotel in Sharm el Sheikh for October half term with great snorkelling from the beach, and a water park. Do get in touch if I can help with your trip. My testimonials are on my website if you want to check them out: www.theholidayhelper.uk

Atrium prestige in Rhodes is lovely, maybe slightly cooler if you were to go in October though.

Although we only did half board and that was around £1k each so may be over budget. Amazing food though and a lovely private beach.

Does it need to be 27+ to sunbathe?
DH and I normally travel sep/oct as less crowds and still warm enough to wear shorts/t-shirts.
Might not be hot enough for you, but Sicily, Crete or southern Spain/Portugal?
Cape Verde has alot of all inclusive resorts, but I've never been.

For me yes! I'm Mexican so I grew up with proper warm weather and I'm still used to some of that. (I'll wear a proper jacket at 15 degrees and t shirt weather is around 22 degrees)

Turkey would fit the bill. Flights will eat up a good chunk of your budget (even as part of a package) though so a shorter flight would be more economical.

I've seen Jamaica/Mauritius for £1200 and, yes closer to a low 4 star. I haven't really looked into Turkey because I've heard drinks aren't great.

Lots of places are within a 5 to 6 hour flight, Greece, Turkey, Morocco, Tunisia, Canaries, most of Europe, personally would consider a short flight as no more than two to three hours

Yes, but realistically I won't get the weather I'm looking for. Maybe mid-haul if that term exists?

It’s like anywhere else, pick your hotel carefully. We like the Barut chain, premium drink brands are included.

We went to Kos in the middle of September last year. It was over 27 degrees everyday.
