I’ve had a terrible fear of flying for a really long time following a horrible experience. It usually manifests as awful anxiety leading up to and getting through the flight and usually some tears on takeoff (pathetic I know, I’m 31!)
We have booked a holiday to Tenerife this May and it’ll be my first time flying with DD who will be 3. I absolutely don’t want her to pick up on my nerves, and DH will be with me but I know she’s going to want to chat to me etc and I usually stick my headphones in, shut my eyes and pray 😂
How can I overcome this before May? I want her to love travelling and flying and not be influenced by me. Can the GP prescribe anything any more?
