Just wondering if anyone else has had this and how long I should expect to be ill for- it started last Thursday with chills and shivering and cold symptoms, then quickly developed into diahhorea every time I ate anything. I’ve had dry toast and banana and some rice because I have to eat , even though I know it’s going to come out. I’m breastfeeding my eight month old who has croup (so is extra clingy bless him but also feeding more) and every time I feed him it’s contracts my stomach so sets me off again. I’ve honestly never felt so weak and ill, I went six times last night (sorry for tmi) have tried Imodium a couple of times but it doesn’t seem to work. It’s going on a week now, I’ve had diaroltye sachets to try to rehydrate and drinking as much fluid as I can, just worried about my milk supply and baby getting enough to drink too. This is a nightmare , has anyone come out the other side?!

My husband was a good 10 days. He would think the diarrhoea was over then back again.,

I had it new years eve spent a day in bed, feverish, nauseous, palpitations. thought it over but the last two evenings back in the bathroom. Woke up this morning. It's back again. Lying on the sofa this afternoon tried a boring ham sandwich at lunchtime. Mistake. Have taken milk of magnesia at night for the burps.

Think it's no food for 24 hours, drink water and starve the bugger out. My bladder is also irritated, urge incontinence.

Happy bloody new year 🤬
