Lost toy - Faringdon (Oxfordshire)

Shamelessly posting for traffic and hoping this is one of those magic MN threads where someone has found it.....!

DH has only just told me that our toddlers unicorn toy has been missing for over a week after the final drop off on Christmas Eve at nursery.

If any mnetters 1) live in faringdon and 2) remember seeing this slightly grey, used-to-be-clean-bright-white unicorn toy lying somewhere around the Tesco car park, please let me know!

one very sad toddler went back to nursery today without "uuuuuuicorrrrn"

It's probably long gone if it was over a week ago. I google image searched and a few places have it it in stock.

Yes, I had to scroll through a fair few "soft toy unicorns" before I found the right one online! It's an easy back up to buy the new one if needs be, but the look (and smell!) of it won't be hers... and she'll let us know!

I guess you've posted on all your local FB pages and asked in Tesco to see if its been handed in? We had a basket of lost toys in my local Tesco waiting for their little people.

Ah that gives me hope! Yes, unfortunately DH only told me about an hour ago, so can't get hold of Tesco till Monday when we're back over that way. Posted on all the local sites. Just was hoping for some leftover Christmas magic 😂

It's been found!! A lovely lady is dropping it back to the nursery after finding it on the road a week ago and keeping it in her office since then. Hurrar!

Aww, how lovely of her. So glad they've been reunited.
