Just an update from the lovely @lavenderfarmcottage and others who have enquired.
I had my last thread deleted as I posted details which I thought were identifying.
So I messaged the Dr, he said it was great to hear from me and he hadn't messaged as he didn't know when he would be in town and promised to message back as he wanted to meet. 3 days passed again and he didn't text. Yesterday he finally texted to say he was really tired from NYE but intended to sleep it off and come into London to meet me but was as yet undecided.
I thought what the hell is with this lacklustre message so I messaged him to tell him to leave it but suggested he call me later that evening instead. He didn't call or message but I noticed him online several times last night.
This morning he messaged first thing to say that he was sorry but his 'roommates' were in his room (?) so he couldn't call last night but he would call me today.
I don't know why I didn't leave it and block but I messaged back to ask whether he had roommates or his wife in his room, as I'd received half a message from him. I think I was hoping he would apologise.
He sent me a message asking me who did I think I was making these allegations, that he was a real dr (but then told me worked in a hospital in London not the one miles away that the he originally told me about), that I was not to contact him again and he blocked me!
Im not sure why I feel so bad about it all - I would never usually send someone a message as rude as to ask if he was with his roommates or his wife so I've let myself down. I don't think he is married given he has looked almost constantly online over the last week, so not sure what it's all been about.
Sorry there hasn't been a happy ending!
