Yes. I love going out for drinks and dinner so I don’t stop just because I’ve over indulged at Christmas.

MulberryPeony · 01/01/2025 10:23

We have family birthdays in Jan so yes.

I have three big family birthdays in January this year. So I think there will be a few meals out.

Enough4me · 01/01/2025 10:25

I mainly WFH so I make an effort to get out in the day in weekends just to move and get some sunlight to be healthy. Evenings I'm happy to hibernate.

Lentilweaver · 01/01/2025 10:26

I do. But that's because I dont do Xmas so am not as skint.

hexsnidgett · 01/01/2025 10:26

Yes, I don't go out much in December because it's so busy and Christmas focused. I look forward to January and things being quieter.

lavenderlou · 01/01/2025 10:27

I've booked to see a show towards the end of January as something to look forward to. I didn't do much socialising in December though.

Lottapianos · 01/01/2025 10:28

Yes! Going out in January is a delight - everything is so much quieter and calmer than December

WhatNoRaisins · 01/01/2025 10:28

I don't have that that crazy a Christmas socially myself so I'm happy to be social in January myself.

IceStationZebra · 01/01/2025 10:29

Yes, always. I don’t over-spend or over-indulge at Xmas so I always make plans to do fun things.

Lobstercrisps · 01/01/2025 10:30

No. I love staying in at this time of year. I mean I walk the dogs daily and still exercise, but I don't want to be social at all.

The only thing I'd do if I was given the chance, is a fortnight in the carribean. Currently it's lashing the front of the house and I can hear trees in the forest creaking and I'd be at Heathrow in a shot if I could get away from this!

Mairzydotes · 01/01/2025 10:32

Yes , we have family birthdays too.

Burn's night always seems popular around here too.

mirrormirroronthe · 01/01/2025 10:34

If we get any good discount codes through we might pop out but nothing planned
I have a £20 dining out card to use
Il probably change my mind next week ha ha
