Does anyone remember these books from 90s ( I think).

I've always been an avid reader and during the 1990s I was a fan of a school series but I can't remember what they were called or the author. I think they were written in the 1990s or maybe late 80s. I just remember they were first person narrated by a girl who was quite accident prone and things tended to go wrong for her. It's possible she was called Michelle. I think there was a girl called Fleur too. I don't think it was a boarding school, just a standard day school.

Does this ring any bells? I'd love to know what they were called. They're definitely not by Enid Blyton and not Chalet school or anything like that. Not Grange Hill or Mill Green either.

I used to LOVE those books (I think I had ‘Anastasia has the answers’ and another one) I remember wanting a gym set and rope in the garage as she had one and I read the books pronouncing the name totally wrong in my head (thought it was Ann stat ist asia’) 😂😂😂

Ooooh, @lifebyfaith I definitely had the “First Term” book from the series. I recognised the cover straight away! I don’t remember the plot though. Was Fleur a bit of a teacher’s pet/mean girl?

I had all the Anastasia Krupnik books too 😁

The girl named Cerise has just unlocked a memory of reading these books! Her mum was really loud and pushy? She was friends with the class mean girl called Cassida? Cressida?

I had the first one too! And that cover (and the name Micky in the blurb) immediately brought it back! Might have to get a copy, I can't remember the plot either...

Yes I remember Fleur being a teacher's pet! Don't think she was mean though. I recall Cerise being more of the mean one, but my memory is hazy so I might be wrong.

I remember Cerise being stuck up so her mum probably was very pushy! The name Cressida rings some sort of bell. I might have to read them again.
