I want something and the price point there is good but a friend says it's not a good company.

I had this question also but since I come from an ex communist country and hold much more compassionate view about the exploited people ( how are they meant to eat if no one buys the product!!! ), trialled it and bought embroidery packs, 4 in 1 ....the materials are very very good and the floss same if not better quality than the one I bought from the Works.

also the USA started this against China and TEMU - another pov me dears.

It's mostly cheap tat but........exactly the same stuff is on sale on other sites at twice the price, they are getting their stuff from the same places. Some of the stuff is fine, wooden buttons for baby knitted garments are really cheap and everybody loves them, very cute, I couldn't afford to give so much away and to charity if I used the local haberdashery shop! I did order mens socks once and they came like the size to fit a 5 Yr old child😂you have to be careful what you order.

I tried it for the first time for some Christmas stuff and 10 out the 11 items I ordered were perfect! Good quality, what was in the description and free delivery.

Yes I don't usually order from these places because of the most likely underpaid labour but also thought so many things are from China and sold on at a higher price, why not help to pay wages directly? If I could change this I would, but, having travelled to the factories, it's sadly not a case of boycotting because this is how they earn money. The government and industry there needs a huge overhaul, meanwhile this goes on.

Yes it's vile slave labour.
Dp orders stuff from there now and then and I hate it.

I've recently visited China and all the stuff you can buy cheaply on Temu is even cheaper there. So even if Temu are adding on a few pence to each item, they'll still be making a huge profit.

I suspect these items are exactly the same as you'd buy from Amazon, The Range, eBay etc.

I agree that the safety standards may not be good, so certainly wouldn't buy toys or electricals.
