Ectopic pregnancy anxiety-can pain on one side be normal ?

I’m not even pregnant but ttc after an ectopic in 2023. But this month at 9dpo I have pain (the same type as I had from 12dpo with my ectopic) so I’m worrying. I can’t test till the end of the week so don’t even know yet but has anyone had an ectopic, got pregnant again, had this type of one sided pain but all was ok ??

It would be really unlucky to have 2 ectopics surely (if I even am pregnant) this discomfort is just making me worry !!!!

Hand hold op. I've had this worry as I kept getting right side pain but negative pregnancy tests. I had a faint positive today and continuing stomach issues

It’s really stressful isn’t it. I have been ttc since 3 months after my ectopic (had to wait due to the medication they gave me) and nothing and every month I know I’m not pregnant by this point but this month I have zero PMT and this pinching pain on one side just like the pain with my ectopic. I can’t test till Thursday earliest and I’m worried 😭

How quickly did you realise it was ectopic last time? That must've been so horrible and I know there's nothing you can do to prevent it.

You will no doubt be monitored really closely now?

I had suspicions from 12dpo as had a pain on left side, I got sent to EPU 14 dpo and they scanned me said id ovulated the opposite side to where the pain was so that was reassuring to them and maybe I had bowel pain ?

They did HCG test that day then 2 days later and the result was virtually the same , the next one was similar and they scanned again and saw the ectopic , I had bloods taken that day and 48 hours later a methotrexate injection so it was extremely early luckily, I’m just so worried as the pain in the same side

to add my positive test was 12dpo I literally did it that morning and then had the pains that afternoon.

I’ve been told if I get pregnant again to go to EPU immediately. I don’t even know if I am but the lack of pmt and this pain at 9dpo and I’m just full of anxiety

I had pain on my right hand side after conceiving and it wasn't ectopic. They checked in ultrasounds and just said my ovary was a bit inflamed from ovulating. It wasn't super painful though just a bit stingy (I also normally get ovulation pain anyway when the egg comes out but this lasted longer). Baby is now here and healthy. I hope everything goes OK for you.

How are you op?

How are you op?

I’m ok, the pain turned out to be an unruptured follicle ! Still is a bit sore even though I now have my period . I’m just relieved it wasn’t another ectopic as it felt so similar
