Can diet improve under eye bags?

I feel like I've aged around my eyes in the last 18mths. My eyes seem puffy and when I look in the mirror I seem to hyper focus on the fact that my eye bags are becoming very noticeable. Can you improve this by diet? Or by anything other that surgery?

I found I needed to give up booze and sugar otherwise I puff up so diet really does help. Plenty of water too.

Apparently drinking lots of water can help. I find when I'm dehydrated my bags/dark rings are more noticeable.

Yes, stopping drinking alcohol, reducing caffeine and drinking more water helps.

I use a roller gently on my eyes to de-puff them too. No eye cream has ever helped me personally.

Reducing salt also helps

I’d also say it’s possibly a time of life thing. I didn’t seem to have an issue until I hit my forties. Then I found I really needed to look after myself diet wise. Whereas before I could of had a pizza and a bottle of wine for dinner and looked fine the next day.

Getting a good night's sleep every night is the only thing that sorts mine.
