New Year’s Eve Plans?

Some years ago I would always make a big deal of NYE, either hosting/attending a party or going to a nightclub or in fancy dress round a local town. A large amount of alcohol involved! For several years now, DH & I have stayed at home. We bring the rabbits in overnight because of the fireworks. I used to have wine & a bottle of sparkling wine or champagne but this year, I have non alcoholic fizz. We’re having steak, chips, peas & breaded garlic mushrooms for tea. DD16 will be at home & eating the same as us for a change. What about you guys?

We're going ice skating in the day, then dropping in on some friends for a toast, then home.

We'll play a couple of board games with DC then settle them down.

I'll have a nice pampering bath, order an Indian take away and watch a couple of films with DH. Then at midnight we'll get the kids up to watch fireworks out of the window upstairs.

Then bed!
