Landsend shorts for teen

I have a 13 yr old boy with sensory challenges.

Since he was 7 he has only worn landsend shorts, bright colours but in a sportsweight fabric. So, like football shorts but he won't wear football shorts. He won't wear trousers. He will wear jersey shorts at a push but only when his special shorts are in the wash.

Landsend stopped doing kids clothes last year and I've been scouring vinted ever since, not no luck.

Can anyone suggest a brand that does anything similar please?

Peacocks, Primark and H&M do lightweight jersey shorts if that helps?

Could he fit into an adult extra small from Lands End?

I was also disappointed they stopped doing children's clothes.

Sadly the men's range doesn't include shorts, but maybe in the spring, that is a good idea, thank you.

Jersey is my back up plan, thanks for the recommendations.

Do you have a photo of the shorts? Maybe someone can help you track some down or have some in the loft.

I'm pretty sure LandsEnd.com still do kid's clothes in the US, also they sell via Amazon.com. Worth a try. International shipping may be pricy, but in your situation I'd be stocking up anyway. Best of luck.
