Candle wax out of suede! Suggestions please

Some molten candle wax split over a pair of black suede shoes. I left it to dry, and tried scraping it off, but it still looks bad.
If anyone has suggestions, they'd be very gratefully received!

Stick it the freezer or use ice? That normally works.

Does putting it in the freezer make it easier to chip off?

Dip a metal spoon in boiling water. Hold a piece of kitchen towel over candle wax. Quickly dry the spoon, then press the still-hot spoon against the affected suede on the inside of the shoe. The heat should gradually melt the wax, which then gets absorbed by the kitchen towel. Repeat until it's all gone.
