Best way to learn Spanish online?

In around 18months I will be taking a school trip to Spain so I thought it would be good to learn some Spanish before I go. I don’t have time to do a course but would like something I can do from home, online.

Anyone had any success or not from the different methods?

My son loved Butterfly Spanish while revising for his GCSE'S.

I think what you need is an online course via Zoom (with a teacher and other learners) plus some kind of learning platform. Something like duolingo on its own is probably not enough because it doesn't cover speaking....and it's incredibly repetitive. If you can afford it, private tuition (one-to-one) is the way to go.

I would struggle with a regular commitment, very heavy workload some weeks (others just normally heavy!) which is why I was hoping for something online. I might look at a course during the summer holidays.
