Driving instructor sitting in car on driving test ?

Dd has been having driving lessons. She's failed twice and has her 3rd test in a few days. She's asked for her driving instructor to sit in the back on her test. As she feels having someone in the car may make her feel more at ease. Just wounder if others have done this ?

I did this after my second failed attempt at passing and when I passed third time around my driving instructor sat in the back

DS failed first time with instructor in the car and passed second time with him there. Instructor was able to say exactly where he went wrong and make sure if didn't happen again.
