Anyone watching Virgin River

I loved it when it came out and now feel invested and I have to finish this series .. but omg 😳 😂😂 it’s bad (but ideal for this morning with a mug of tea while my one’s sleep)

Another watch like VR is Chesapeake shores we called it cheesy peaks haha.Loved it, my DH was addicted 😅

I stopped quite early on because it was weird that he was loved up with one woman whilst another was pregnant with his child and we're all supposed to think it's so dead romantic 🤮

Spoilers: The last season dragged a bit and I'm tired of some of the characters stories. I found Mel a bit of a bridezilla. So didn't binge it but I did finish it. It was okay and I will watch the next season in the hope it picks up somewhat.

The previous seasons I've binged and loved!

@Anon501178 its mainly the time line that I find annoying I think by season 5 Mel had still only been in virgin river less than a year. There is a bigger jump in time to season 6 which does address some of the issues. But the whole of season 6 takes place over 2 weeks. So it’s still less than 2 years Mel has been in virgin river

I started watching it a long time ago, and I remember it was bad but somehow great. Not sure why I stopped, but now when I read your comments it's clear that it was just not that interesting and/or something better popped up on Netflix.

😵‍💫Ive watched all and was so excited for the new series BUT I was bored! Even found myself fast forwarding. Also no cliff hangers at the end of each episode.
I was/am more interested in Brie and Brady!!!!

I watched the first couple of seasons, got bored. Then dd went to work near Vancouver and her local pub is Jack's Bar! So now I'm watching and just fast-forwarding for the scenery.

Yes this season is really tedious and too much Jack and Mel, they are together now we get it, it's boring.
It used to be kind of like a mug of hot chocolate viewing, but now it's just boring and occasionally jarring when they bring in big serious story lines.

Totally agree all about Mel and Jack and the wedding that they both strived for THEN OMG at the last minute Mel has a wobble and the wedding might be off.
Boring and wasnt a cliff hanger as you just knew it would happen. Disappointing.

60's spin off doesnt interest me BUT Brie and Brady would. The passion between them on screen is 🔥 (pool table 😮)!!!

I started watching it over the Christmas holidays. The scenery is beautiful but after three seasons I started to get bored so haven't watched anymore.

Hart of Dixie was much better. I watched than and thought I’d try virgin river but it’s not for me.

it seems very disjointed and I can’t keep track, but at the same time it’s very slow.

SPOILER ALERT HART OF DIXIE

I really like Hart of Dixie but stopped watching part way through the last season when it became clear Zoe and George were never going to get together in the end.

I watched them all up to this season. Watched the first episode of the new season, realised Mel and Jack absolutely annoy the crap out of me and just can't watch any more.

LOVE the Brady and Bree (yes she is named after a cheese 🤣) storyline.

So Jack is willing to stay with her despite knowing she slept with Brady....not sure about that one!

Yes it IS poorly written, poorly acted shite but......I love it!

What did Jack see???
I think in the next series Mel and Jack will be overwhelmed by offers of babies, the surrogate and Charmaine's twins.

Haven't seen this season yet but for me it went off the boil when they had the chance to kill off Hope then didn't. I absolutely can't stand her!!

Yeah I do get your point there....charmaine seemed to be pregnant for about 3 seasons! 😂
