Still gifts lying around? Wrapping paper on the floor? Or did you clean it up hours ago?

No wrapping paper but quite a lot of new toys - they’re sort of stacked up in a tidy-ish pile though.

Enko · 25/12/2024 20:51

Wrapping paper tidied away some.presents packed away others still out. Dog asleep in front of tv. Ds and dd3 on the sofa with a drink each

Life is wonderful

why0whydear · 25/12/2024 20:52

I put the wrapping paper in the recycling bag as we go. So none of that around. But plenty of new toys.

Catsmere · 25/12/2024 20:52

No gifts, since I don't do Christmas and wouldn't have space for guests if I did! (Single person unit, it's tiny.)

DustyMaiden · 25/12/2024 20:53

Looks like an old folks home. People in chairs with blankets. Everything cleared away. Put wrapping paper in sack as we go.

AdviceAdvice123 · 25/12/2024 20:54

Like someone played supermarket sweep in Smyths, chucked it in our house and then gave the whole thing a good shake!

Wouldn’t have it any other way, it’ll all be sorted and tidied tomorrow morning.

Hemax1 · 25/12/2024 20:54

Like a toy shop has thrown up 🤦🏻‍♀️
wrapping paper has gone and boxes out for recycling. We’ve been out for our dinner so still need to do some kind of tidy.

VikingLady · 25/12/2024 20:55

Lego train set across the floor, sweets and chocolate everywhere, but overall not too bad!

GameOfJones · 25/12/2024 20:58

No wrapping paper on the floor as we bag it up as we go. Some gifts sorted into piles but I can see quite a few of DDs new presents spread around the floor and they're both overtired as it's way past their bedtime. But I love it.

AdoraBell · 25/12/2024 21:00

Piles of gifts on the table and sofa. Wrapping paper in a bag in the garage.

UtterlyUnimaginativeUsername · 25/12/2024 21:00

No wrapping paper here, it was cleaned up hours ago. The floor and seating are liberally scattered with presents though. I'll sort it into orderly piles in the morning, in daylight. I'm far too knackered now.

Bugbeau · 25/12/2024 21:02

No wrapping paper as we were at my mums most of the day. Lots of toys and gifts but mainly in bags. The kids rooms look like a Lego factory exploded though!

Ponderingwindow · 25/12/2024 21:03

It’s a present obstacle course, even though we tried to organize things. Everyone is way too tired from yesterday to do anything more.

Mashroom · 25/12/2024 21:06

It’s tidy and relatively clutter free

candles lit .. house feels a bit stuffy though

Devilsmommy · 25/12/2024 21:06

Toys, toys and more toys. A huge garage and eleventy billion cars😅 that's what it seemed like when I was chucking them all in a box when DS went to bed😂

mumbruh · 25/12/2024 21:09

Mountain of selection boxes on sofa and a few opened but not unboxed presents on the floor in small piles - need to move the, into kids rooms and bathroom tomorrow

Pineapplewaves · 25/12/2024 21:12

All new toys have gone to DC's bedrooms, carpet hoovered, paper in recycling bin, dining table polished. Living room looks as it should.

The kitchen sink is piled high with dishes which can wait until tomorrow, I've already had the dishwasher on once and emptied it, not doing it again!

FromCuddleLand · 25/12/2024 21:19

Various toys and packaging in drifts around the edges of the room. Completed jigsaw on the coffee table (2 days!). Son in tank museum onesie next to me on sofa eating chocolate orange. DH in armchair eating trifle. Two youngest allegedly in bed upstairs. About to watch Gavin and Stacey.

mondaytosunday · 25/12/2024 21:22

No as my DD just removed a few presents so we (me, DD and son) could all sit down to watch a movie. My son tidied the wrapping paper after we opened the gifts this morning. So us on sofa, one cat in one chair, other cat on DD's lap, dog on ottoman, fire on, tree lit up and Trading Places on the TV. Just don't look in the kitchen...

Kitkat1523 · 25/12/2024 21:25

Spotless….but we only had the GC and AC visit today….granted the house looked like a bomb site at 8pm when they all left….but 30 mins later, between us , it was lovely and clean and tidy again

WimbyAce · 25/12/2024 21:26

Lots of toys in a pile and some in bags, no idea where they are going to go! Wrapping paper all gone though.

Doggymummar · 25/12/2024 21:27

Back to spotless, except for 12 of the trays of Ferrero rocher building a walk across one end

RaveToTheGrave1 · 25/12/2024 21:29

Wrapping paper goes in the bag straight away, there's a half done Grinch puzzle, a pile of candy corn, a cracker end that the cats have been beating up and my new foot massager on the go 😂

MargaretThursday · 25/12/2024 21:49

Wrapping paper is mostly in a box to go out in the recycling bin tomorrow. Dd is "saving" her wrapping paper to reuse so that is in an untidy heap for her to sort it.
We have a pile of costumes which I haven't managed to wash yet in the corner, but I should get them done tomorrow.
The budgies are investigating the Christmas tree with occasional successful attempts to remove a decoration, which results in lots of flapping.

The dc and dh are playing Cluedo, without too much noise, except last round where they found the solution had two rooms and no murder weapon.

Fizzygoo · 25/12/2024 21:50

Left some bundles of wrapping paper on the floor as the cats love it

some satsuma skins near the fire

a few empty glasses
