I did a pregnancy test yesterday and today with 4 different brands and they've all had faint lines and the clear blue was 1-2 wks preg. I have a coil fitted in a c section last year and I'm still feeding my third baby.
I do not want to be pregnant. I spoke to 111 who have said it needs to be confirmed with a blood test and then we can make a plan. I'm going to go to urgent care tomorrow.
This has happened to me before a few years ago (not with a coil) where me and dh had used a condom and then I had faint positives on a test. We did not at the time think the condom had failed and were quite shocked. The pregnancy didn't progress and I believed I had a miscarriage.
I'm wondering if it is at all possible that I have an unusually high levels of hgc and if I were to take a pregnancy test at any time it would be a faint positive?! Is this a thing? I just feel the odds of being pregnant with a coil although I know it's not 100% safe it is rare. Especially as this happened previously with a condom which we didn't think had split.
Hope that makes sense. I'm a bit of a mess today. I have 3 children under 6 and cannot fathom another.
