Anyone else waiting for teens to go to bed?

I have 3 teen boys, they still want the surprise of all the presents under the tree, also a stocking. When they wake up. They still come into our room and it's fab.

But..... Please I need some sleep it's late, and I have to get all the presents from various places around the house. Whe all I want to do is drink Bailey's and watch Micheal Bublé ! 🤣

Mine aren’t early risers so I leave it until the morning now.

Doggo wakes me to go out for a wee at around 7am, and there’s no way on earth my kids will be awake before so I’ll do it then.

Our 7yr old keeps waking so I'm setting an alarm to do the stocking around 4am then dive bomb into bed. Nightmare... they just get so excited though so the magic is there....

I have the issue that I have one older and one younger. A 15 yr old (still wide awake and moving around upstairs) and an 11 yr old who is v excited and will be up v early.

Go the fuck to sleep!

It's getting to the point I'm just going to do it knowing she can hear me. Neither of them believe. I'm putting too much pressure on myself!

I’ve managed to put the presents out and set an alarm to do the stocking swap. I’m sure this is the last year that I’ll have a believer in the house so I’m making the most of the magic!

My older teens helped put the presents under the tree earlier so that was fine but I've still done their stockings in secret in my room and put them outside their door...ds15 has been on the prowl so will have seen his but I can't wait any later! Ds19 has had quite a bit to drink in the pub with his cousins and is warding of a cold so he's crashed quicker.

I did the stockings with my teen still awake (I thought) but he's asleep now and there's no way I'd beat the wake up of the youngest (7yo) so had to do it before sleep...

I've always left so much to the last minute and stay up with wine and a good series on tv while I finish wrapping and sort stockings... it means I've had 14 years of being absolutely knackered on Xmas day but it adds to the vibe I think..?!
