Already disappointed in Christmas by DP

I’m in Australia so already Christmas morning… the weaponised incompetence has me furious.

Thankfully I wrapped a few presents for myself from Santa otherwise I would have nothing- halfway through unwrapping presents he pottered off to his office came back with a piece of folded paper - a quote - not a booking- for me , DP and DD (2) to stay in a hotel.
Between a 2 year old and a snoring DP ( he sleeps in a separate room his snoring is so bad!!) it doesn’t sound like a present to me!!!

When I said that’s a lovely present for the family what did you get me? I got oh well there’s lots of things in the Boxing Day sales…. Christmas Day isn’t a surprise he’s had ages to plan not leave it till I’ll get you something in the sales!!! Wow I’m feeling loved

I wasn’t wanting the earth just a bit of effort - I wanted to break up, I asked him to move out earlier in the year and he asked to try again so thought he’d put some effort in ( he did buy the kids a lot of presents)

Last night I asked him to put the Santa plate out and told him use the Oreos so he heard go into the bag with all the food we ( I went out a bought) for Christmas lunch open the expensive biscuits put those out and eat two himself)!! I specifically said Oreos- clear childlike instructions

He was in charge of the stocking presents - small stockings and he put it all in mine so there was nothing in DD’s !!! Yes she’s too young to notice but seriously one says mummy one says DD’s name … just use some brain cells

Anyone else’s DP inconsiderate with their presents or have lovely thoughtful gifts ( that I can be jealous about)
