I've got a fever aches being sick etc so just awful. I can't move without being absolutely freezing and I've still got half of my wrapping to do! All the days to get ill 🤧 I'm a single parent so no other support has anyone got anything I can try to make me feel just Abit better 🥹I feel like I've ruined Xmas eve for my kids 🥺

I thought I was on the mend but just crawled into bed again. Apparently doing a little was too much, iykwim.

Have you got the means to get really warm? Heating, hot water bottle, that kind of thing? Have you got paracetamol and ibuprofen?

What age are the kids? Small enough to not notice if you shift Christmas by a couple of days? Old enough to help? Or in between?

I have been like that since Friday night, chills with fever and nauseous. Fever resided after two days and now such a horrible cough. i'm hosting tomorrow and dreading it. i hope you feel better soon,

Children will understand it. Focus on your health and this was the worst cold/ flu i ever had.

Sympathy. I was up all night throwing up. I am gutted that I put all the hard work in to have a nice Christmas Eve and I haven’t left the bed. I feel like I’ve been switched off.

Are you based in a city? If so use Deliveroo to send some paracetamol and ibuprofen and make sure you're cycling them so you're taking something every 2 hours.
