Trifle drama

Just started making the trifle but have put jelly and fruit in before the sponge fingers. the jelly has already set. Should I just bung the sponge fingers on top, then add custard or shall I scrape the jelly out and put the sponge on the bottom?

Reporting back. Sponge on top of Jelly with Custard on top worked well in my opinion (I don't have anyone else's opinion as nobody else ate the blasted thing. My husband made a Basque Cheesecake, won the pudding war and everyone had seconds of that)

i can only advise you go no contact and try to move on with your life as best you can.

*I don’t eat trifle… controversial I know but it’s just sweet slop with random fruit I won’t eat anyway. Give me a nice piece of cake any day <run’s away and hides before I get cancelled>
