Just a moment of reflection before the big day... missing my babies

This year marks the 25th and 17th years that my beautiful son, Scott, and my gorgeous daughter, Emma, aren't here for Christmas.

I have my wonderful children here and the day will be filled with love and laughter, but there's always two people missing.

Just having a quiet moment before the family descends and a beautiful chaos ensues to reflect on the short time I got to be their Mum, and the Christmases we never got to have.

I hope the day is gentle on all of you who are missing someone this year.

If you want to share their names or something about them I'll light another candle beside my babies candles tonight and have a moment of thought for them as well ❤️

5th year without my daughter. Thank you for giving us a space to remember our babies. We had one Christmas together and no one seems to remember her now.

I'm so sorry, its almost like another bereavement when people don't remember our sweet children anymore (or they remember but decide its too uncomfortable for them so they just don't mention them).

I'll light a candle for your darling baby girl tonight, and I hope tomorrow is as gentle on you as it can be 💐
