I had this once. It felt like a good third of my breast was rock solid and excruciatingly painful. I tried all sorts (giving the baby a long feed n that side, a warm flannel) but the following day I had a hot shower and held the shower head over it. Something eventually released and a very light touch led to me spraying the walls for ages. Such a relief!

Hope you are sorted soon.

AFAIK it’s just dried, old milk. I had one and managed to scrape it with my nail to release it while in the bath, then squeezed gently and a load of goo came out! Felt much better afterwards!

Kellymom and La leche league websites are really good on this. I found hot baths helped clear them
