M&S party/ buffet food

DD wants a buffet for Christmas dinner this year! We're braving M&S first thing tomorrow - it's only us two so I'm hoping to keep it as simple as possible. I'll do a roast on Boxing Day but she's not a massive fan & I do love a buffet...

Does anyone have any recommendations? Savoury & sweet?

Mini meat pies were a hit at pre Xmas buffet.

Good luck finding any! They've sold out early for the last 2 years

The best ever paella is delicious - having 2 between 3 of us tonight with rocket

Word of warning, their party food has been flying out for the last 2 days so you might be stuck with prawn thermidor & scampi, of which they had tons

Luckily, I've already got all of DDs essentials: sweet potato fries, halloumi, sticky cocktail sausages, crisps & mars bars 🫣

So we're easy really, as long as I can get some of their Baileys & those chocs, we'll survive - but hopefully they'll have some of the bits everyone's mentioning, I've written lots down!

Quite exciting really, never had a non traditional Christmas dinner, and it's never been just us before - will be a bit strange but one of the benefits is that we just have ourselves to please, so it's our faves only! Xmas Grin

Their own brand wotsits are great, also the best ever sausage rolls and the mushroom pate.
