Family holiday to Egypt?

We are contemplating going to Egypt in Easter holidays to hopefully mix a trip of sun & pool with a visit to the pyramids and possibly another sight.

Any hotel recommendations? I presume we are best to stay in Hurgada?

We are a family of 4, with 2 girls who will be aged 11 and almost 7.

We did it and loved it, stayed at Marriott in Cairo for three nights and did the sights there and then went to Hurghada for four nights and included a trip to Luxor. Hurghada hotel was a bit of a let down after the lovely Marriott to be honest!

Thanks @Iloveyogurt. Did you book it separately yourselves or go via an agent/company?

I'm looking at the same. Any hotel recommendations?
